It took us a while to find a shoe storage cabinet with a bit of style AND that had a decent built quality and we think you'll approve of the NewEst shoe cupboard.

Designed by Ristomatti Ratia, this stylish slim-line shoe cabinet is finished in a choice of oak or walnut veneer. It'll neatly store away up to 20 pairs of assorted shoe sizes and offer many years of service.

The clean lines on this robust shoe storage cupboard mean that it'll effortlessly blend into any hallway and really help clear your space of those messy piles of shoes that everyone always trips over.

Better still, unlike some of the poorly made alternatives that we've tried and tested, the NewEst shoe cupboard is ventilated at the rear to stop those smelly shoe odours that can often build-up inside. The cabinet also has a convenient shelf within the top drawer to store your keys, wallet, post, telephone directory etc.

Top storage drawer contains a handy inner shelf and is slightly smaller than the lower drawers which holds shoe up to size 10.

I’ve only given 3 stars as the product was not great quality for the price paid and construction instructions/illustrations were not clear and contained errors. Some screws were missing/odd sizes and others were too small for the intended purpose (magnetic door fastener - ensure you have spares). I had expected a higher quality product from the description but it does the job.

For the money paid I was expecting a solid wooden piece of furniture and was sorely disappointed with the MDF panels and flimsy, plastic drawer hinges. The only solid wood element is the supporting frame. I had two occurrences of a hole having been mis-drilled and one of these had had a sticky circle of mis-matched plastic glued over the top; unfortunately it had moved and so is firmly fixed to the left of the mis-drilled hole. It was nothing shy of a nightmare to construct with none of the panels being labelled and in a couple of instances, the diagrams actually invert the panels from one image to the next. And I say this having put together numerous items of IKEA furniture so am hardly a novice to this style of furniture assembly. That said, it does look nice once you have actually assembled it but I definitely do not feel it is worth the price tag for what it actually is :-(
